A tamer of animals, monsters and creatures to serve the legions, Barato and its soulshards created, tamed or kept many of the creatures that would be used by the Dark Legion of Demons.
It was said, he had an understanding of the voice of animals -and as well was a well versed diplomat, who could conciliate friends and rulers-, being as well a philosopher
Its preferred appearance was of a bearded, old man.
While it wasn't a warrior in its own, in Christian traditions it is said he ruled over thirty legions of demons and had four kings as his companions to command his legions -some suppose, to back him up due his lack of military skills-.
