The Weseuros are an Tok-Aelian ethno-linguistic group which settled in northwestern Aels, identified by their use of the weseurian langiages which diversified out of proto-weseurian starting in the Pre-Dumian period, after the fall of the first human civilization.

The term "Weseuros" originated in dumian period, when groups of tribes were referred to using this term by Dumian authors. For them, the term was not necessarily based upon language, but rather referred to tribal groups and alliances who were considered less civilized, and more physically hardened, than the Mombs living in the north of Dume. Tribes referred to as Weseurian in that period lived generally to the north of the Mombs.

In modern times the term occasionally has been used to refer to ethnic groups who speak weseurian language and claim ancestral and cultural connections to ancient weseurian peoples. Within this context, modern Weseurian peoples include the Nicolian, Sargonic, Huncle, Alaile, Ruhenian, Degolandic, Sueccian and others.

Ethnomyn[]

The Dumian Ethnomyn "Weseurian" seems to be a contraction of two word of the pre-fall of the first human civilization: wes-europea.

Classification[]

By the 1200 a.a.H, the writings of several Dumian authors indicate a division of the Wesuerian into large groupings who shared ancestry, language and culture, this division being appropiated in modern terminology about the divisions of weseurian languages.

Some of them where the Irsh, Spotti, Ingli, Tranks, Tuchs, Delgians, Gaarmans, Daals and Suedish.

History[]

Origins[]

Regarding the question of ethnic origins, evidence developed by archaeologists and linguists suggests that a people or group of peoples sharing a common material culture dwelt within others in the city of Eden, the first human civilization of Aiers, between the 1 and 100 a.a.H, being a distinctive group within others the one which have been identified as wes-europea.

The precise interaction between these peoples is not known; however, they are tied together and influenced by regional features and migration patterns linked to the First Fall of Humanity.

After the Fall[]

Migration from the ruins of Eden to the continent of Aels, migrating to the north-west of the continent.

Collission with Dume[]

By the 1100 a.a.H, Dumian authors recount several regions of central Aels were invaded by migrating Weseurian tribes. This culminated in military conflict with the armies of the Dumian Republic. While Dume was able to fend of these invasions of their controlled territory, they used it as an excuse for their later expansion in Aels, justificating this as a mean of protection against the barbarians.

As Dume expanded to the Barlans river, it incorporated many Momb and riverian societies into the Empire. The tribal homelands to the north-west emerged collectively in the records as Weseuria. The peoples of this area were sometimes at war with Dume, but also engaged in complex and long-term trade relations, military alliances, and cultural exchanges with Dume as well.

Weseringian dinasty[]

The Weseringian dinasty was founded by Aldaric I (c. 1657-1681) the son of Weser, leader of the Tranks, but it was his son Aleks I of the Weseuros (1681-1711) who united all of the North-West of Aels under Weseringian rule.
